Izayah Matthews, of Temple Hills, has been charged in connection to the murder of Oxon Hill native Antonio Bell, 43, who was found shot to death in a parking lot on Aug. 18.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, officers were called to the 3300 block of Huntley Square Drive, where they found Bell suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a second man was also shut, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Following the shooting, investigators say that Matthews fled the area, but he was picked up late on Sunday night and taken into custody without incident.
Investigators say that it is believed Matthews shot Bell during a dispute.
Mattews was charged with first- and second-degree murder, and other related offenses.
The incident remains under investigation.
